November 14th was a beautiful night for my Fund-raising Gala.The event was generously sponsored by the Miss Rodeo New Mexico Pageant Organization; after a delicious dinner provided by Hotel Albuquerque, the live auction was held and funds were made to support me in my travels and preparations for the upcoming year. I was surrounded by amazing art pieces by such renowned and generous artists as Kevin Red Star, Doreman Burns, Mary Sue Walsh, Lori Musil, Don Pinkston, and Jaymie Washburn, just to name a few! But what really made the night special were the people, the old and new friends, who came out to support not only myself but also the great organization that is Miss Rodeo New Mexico. Jess Franks, a retired Pro Rodeo Clown, Bullfighter and Barrelman, generously donated his time to come down from his home in Aztec to be my Auctioneer and he did a stellar job and I know that the auctions success was greatly thanks to his upbeat cowboy attitude.
This was just a ton of fun and everyone had better get ready ready because in 2010 this fundraising event for the Lady in Waiting will be combined with my Trunk Show. Twice the action! Twice the fun!
I would like to thank everyone involved, The MRNM Board, Hotel Albuquerque, and all of my friends for coming and making my fundraiser a truly unforgettable experience!
